Account Representative

Our busy service company is seeking an Account Representative to join our growing team at Universal Pest Services.
The goal for our account representative is to foster long-lasting client relationships and help grow our business.
We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, and understands the value of results-driven customer service.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, able to multi-task, driven by success, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for all client communications, conducting brainstorming sessions with our administration team, communicating results of campaigns both verbally and in daily and weekly reports, and processing client complaints or concerns. The successful candidate will also manage the administrative side of our client accounts.

As the account representative, you will serve as the primary contact between clients and Universal. Account representatives maintain existing customer accounts, while also working to create new accounts. Key responsibilities of an account representative typically include:

  1. Familiarizing yourself with all current company accounts.
  2. Communicating with clients and resolving client issues or complaints.
  3. Monitoring company and business email, messages, and other communication systems and promptly responding to clients.
  4. Auditing all client files quarterly to maintain accurate record-keeping.
  5. Collaborating internally across multiple company departments including marketing, accounting, and management.
  6. Attend local networking events to generate leads.
  7. Prospecting and making presentations on new client accounts.
  8. Cross-selling products and services to existing clients.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field is advantageous.
  2. Proven experience in sales or customer service.
  3. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  4. The ability to multitask.
  5. Effective communications skills.
  6. Current driver's license and clean violation drivers record.
